Beautiful house, rooms and garden. Perfect for our stay with friends and young children. Beautiful kitchen and areas. Once the children were in bed upstairs, the adults could relax knowing that the sound wouldn’t wake them. We really enjoyed our stay :-)

The Priory is incredible in every way! We rented The Priory for my wife's birthday and had the best stay that we could've imagined. The location, grounds and The Priory itself was ideal for hosting, catering and having a good time together with friends an family. Would highly recommend!

Loverly house for 18 of us. Kitchen well equipped and the bar was also amazing! A great garden for the children to play in. Look forward to going back one day.

We hired out the hotel for an afternoon tea party to celebrate my in-laws' Golden Wedding Anniversary. They did a spectacular job with the catering. One of the guests commented she was especially pleased with the variety of teas served, along with coffee as a choice. Another guess said he wished he could order some of their scones via mail order. All in all I think everyone was pleased with the venue, food, and service. Gold star to the staff at The Priory Hotel.

Beautiful grounds, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast. Room size is adequate. No hot water on my first evening, but as the weather was rather warm it didn't really matter. It's nowhere near the town centre, but there's a regular hourly bus service from the main road. Thank you Chris and Chris.

Self visiting as a wedding guest. Beautiful surroundings. Building has historic character. Inside beautiful decor formal contemporary country design. Gardens well maintained. Little gem of a place.

Had afternoon tea for an anniversary celebration. Great selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and specialty teas. Constant service ensured we never ran out. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Highly recommended!

Food at the Priory is generally very good. Several rooms lack a shower but the beds are comfortable. The hotel is family-run yet in my experience this detracted from the quality of service - waiting for some ten minutes for the front door to be opened on a Sunday evening (ready for a week-long stay) without so much as an apology, being ignored at reception while the owner enjoyed a personal phone call for some ten minutes (not even eye-contact, let alone a 'Good Evening') and, the last straw - having made a four-week booking, and having confirmed which room I was to be in for the fourth week, being told at the end of the third week (as I said "Thanks, see you Sunday") that no, I hadn't booked. Castle House Hotel here I come.
